Customs officials seized around
2.6 kg of gold hidden under a seat in a private airline that arrived from Singapore here, airport officials said today.
Security personnel at the airport stumbled upon the gold kept in the bag during a check after the flight arrived last night and informed the Customs officials, they said.
The matter is being investigated, officials added.
