2 children drown in river

Two children drowned in a pond in Shahpur Titiha village in Bheempura area, police said.

Ansh Yadav (4) and Chotak (5) fell in the pond while playing near it yesterday and drowned, they said.

Bodies of both of them were later fished out with the help of locals.

Police is probing the matter.
