2 Dalits snuff out their lives

Two Dalits allegedly committed suicide in separate incidents here, police said today.

Maninder, aged 23, ended his life by hanging himself at his house last night, they said.

He took the extreme step as his family was opposed to his addiction to liquor, police said.

In another incident, Ajit Singh (39) allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at his house last night.

He was alone in his house when he took the extreme step as his wife along with their children had gone to her parental home in Rajasthan's Alwar district, police said.
