2 die of asphyxiation in Kalahandi

At least two persons died and two others fell seriously ill due to asphyxiation after gas emitted from an electric generator at Goluma village in Odisha's Kalahandi district.

Bhokul Nayak and Ranjan Relly were employees of a tent house which had taken contract of decoration for a marriage reception.

The four persons were sleeping in the room where electric generator was swtiiched on, police said adding that two bodies were recovered this morning.

Two others had been rescued in critical condition and rushed to VSS Medical College and Hospital at Burla.
