2 held for involvement with Maoists

Two persons, including a woman, were arrested by Purulia district police from separate places for their alleged involvement in Maoist activities today, the police said.

The two were identified as Parichalok Mahato (35) and Manika Garui (32).

While Mahato was arrested from Mankeyari village under Arsha police station area in Purulia district, the police picked up Garui from Midnapore town in West Midnapore district.
