Two persons have been arrested and a juvenile detained today for allegedly targeting pedestrians at isolated places in the national capital and robbing money and valuables from them, police said.
"Acting on a tip-off, Vikram Chauhan (25) and Gaurav Kumar (23) have been arrested and their accomplice, a juvenile has been detained," DCP (South District) Ishwar Singh said.
Four mobile phones, Rs 3,300 in cash, a country-made pistol and two live cartridges have been seized from them, the officer said.
During interrogation, the accused confessed that they used to rob cash, jewellery and mobile phones from people at isolated stretches of the city at gun point, Singh said.
