2 held with gold and silverware

During a routine checking, GRP men seized 2 kg gold and 11 kg silverwares from two persons and held them after the duo failed to furnish documents for ownership of the vaulables, Superintendent of Police (SP), Railway, Suresh Chaudhary said.

The accused persons had reached Patna by Howrah-Danapur Express and Duronto Express respectively, he said.

GRP later handed over the two persons and the seized haul of valuables to the income tax authorities for further investigation, Chaudhary said.
