Acting on a tip-off, a team of customs department intercepted a private bus at a check-post and frisked the driver, officials said.
Two packets of gold, which bore Chinese seals, were recovered from the driver, the officials said.
While frisking passengers of the bus, seven passports were also recovered, of which two were Chinese, sources said adding, the driver has been arrested.
