Two persons were killed and 12 others injured when a van was hit by a train at an unmanned railway level crossing in Bihar's Nalanda district today, police said.
The van was trying to cross the track at an unmanned railway level crossing when it was hit by the train, Inspector of Biharsharif police station Ravi Jyoti said.
The victims were returning to their village Tetarwah from a marriage function in a temple under Biharsharif police station, he said.
The inspector said that the injured have been admitted to Sadar hospital.
