2 killed in bike mishap

Two bikers were killed when

their vehicle hit iron scaffolding meant for widening of NH 6 at Panchla in Howrah district today.

Police said while Tinkari Ghosh, driving the two-wheeler died on the spot, Sukanto Pramanik succumbed on way to hospital.

The mishap caused traffic snarl-up on the arterial road for about an hour.
