2 killed in lightning strike in West Bengal

Two persons were killed today after they were struck by lightning when they were working in the fields in Gazole area of the district, the police said.

Debaki Burman (40) of Bedpukur and Santosh Murmu (23) Balarampur areas of Gazole were working in the field amid the rains, when they were struck by lightning and died, said district Superintendent of Police Arnab Ghosh.
