At least two traffic police constables were shot dead today in a case of target killing in Pakistan's restive Khyber Pakthunkhwa province bordering Punjab.
The two policemen died on the spot after unknown gunmen riding a motorbike sprayed a volley of bullets at them while doing duty at Amn Chowk in Swabi district, police said.
Both of them died on the spot after sustaining critical injuries, police said, adding that an investigation has been launched.
