Two promoter entities of Reliance Communications have pledged around 11 crore shares of the company.
Based on the closing price of RCom on the date of transaction, pledged shares are worth Rs 374 crore.
According to a BSE filing, Reliance Communications Enterprises pledged 8 crore shares worth around Rs 274 crore as collateral for non-convertible debentures issued by the company.
Reliance Wind Turbine Installators Industries Private Limited has pledged a total 3 crore shares worth over Rs 102 crore.
The transactions were carried on January 3 when shares of RCom closed at Rs 34 per unit at BSE.
