24-year-old woman shot dead

A woman was shot dead allegedly

by her husband's rivals in Kotwali area, police said today.

Roshan (24) was shot dead by one Akram and his associates in Narottam Sarai locality yesterday, Circle Officer Sambhal Jagveer Singh Attri said.

He said Akram and his aides had come to kill Roshan's husband, Amir, over old rivalry.

When Akram did not find Amir at home he and his aides shot Roshan dead, he added.
