Punjab Government today transferred 27 police officers, including six IPS, with immediate effect.
Disclosing this here, an official spokesman said besides 6 IPS, the others are of Punjab Police Service (PPS) cadre.
Nanak Singh has been posted as Officiating SP/ Investigation, Bathinda while Gaurav Garg, transferred as Officiating Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP) at Amritsar.
Deepak Hilori goes as Officiating ADCP/ Hqrs & Security, Amritsar, whereas Harjinder Singh has been posted as Commandant-cum-Deputy Director (Administration) Punjab Police Academy (PPA) at Phillaur.
The services of Surjit Singh has been placed at the disposal of Vigilance Bureau Punjab and Vivek Sheel Soni has been attached with Commissioner of Police Jalandhar as officiating ADCP.
