In two separate incidents, 185 grams of brown sugar were seized and three people were arrested in Balasore town today, police said.
The police said it arrested one Prafulla Sendha (48) after recovering 132 grams of brown sugar from a house at Dewan Patna in Balasore town.
Similarly, the excise department raided a house at Arar
Bazar area in Sahadevkhunta police station in Balasore town and arrested Banguru Hemram and Sania Hemram before seizing 53 grams of brown sugar from them.
Both the seized drugs would be around Rs 18 lakh, police said.
