Three persons allegedly committed suicide in separate incidents in the last 24 hours in Muzaffarnagar and Shamli districts, police said today.
30-year-old Naushad yesterday committed suicide by hanging himself in his house at Chapar village in the district, police said, adding, he took the extreme step as he was worried over some family dispute.
In the second such incident, 24-year-old Sumit allegedly committed suicide last evening by jumping before a train at a crossing in Gandhi colony here, police said.

Another youth committed suicide by jumping before a train near Bharsi village in Shamli district, police said, adding, his identity is yet to be ascertained.
The bodies have been sent for post-mortem and probe is underway in all the cases, police said.
