3 held with 158 kg opium

Three persons were arrested and over 158 kg opium, which was being illegally transported in a truck, was seized today from them in Rajasthan's Hanumangarh district, police said.

Acting on a tip-off, police intercepted a truck en route to Haryana from Chittorgarh and recovered opium worth around Rs 90 lakh being illegally transported, they said.

Three occupants of the truck, including its driver, were arrested, they said.
