Three persons were today killed and eight others injured when the jeep they were travelling in fell in a deep trench near Muni ki Reti in Tehri district, police said.
The accident took place between Bhadrakali and Tehri when the driver of the jeep, which was on its way to Pratapnagar from Delhi, lost control over the vehicle and it plunged into a deep trench, killing three people on the spot including the driver and injuring eight others, police said.
The injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital.
