3 minors drown in Ganga in UP

Three children drowned in Ganga while taking bath here, officials said today.

Suhel (14), Rohil (12), both brothers, and Shamshed (9) were taking bath in the river at Basaulia ghat yesterday when they accidently went on the deeper side and drowned, District Magistrate Shambhunath said.

Though the locals tried to save them but to no avail, he said, adding, their bodies were fished out by divers late in the night.
