3 policemen, 1 civilian killed in PKK attacks in Turkey

Turkey's state-run news agency says three police officers and a civilian were killed in two separate Kurdish rebel attacks on armored police vehicles in southeast Turkey.
The Anadolu Agency said rebels of the Kurdistan Workers' Party, or PKK, detonated a car bomb on a road in the town of Dargecit, in Mardin province, today, as a police vehicle was passing by.
The explosion killed one person and wounded a police officer.

Three policemen were killed in a similar attack late on Tuesday when PKK militants detonated an improvised explosive device on a road near the town of Silopi, in Sirnak province.
Renewed fighting between the PKK and Turkey's security forces has killed hundreds of people since July and derailed a fragile peace process.
