35-year-old allegedly killed by miscreants

A 35-year-old man was allegedly killed by unidentified miscreants at Kairasi, about 60-km from here in Ganjam district of Odisha, police said today.

At least four miscreants attacked Mithun Sahu of Kairasi with sharp weapons while he was going to house alone Friday night, sub divisional police officer (SDPO) of Chhatrapur A C Pahi said.

Sahu was first admitted at Khallikote hospital and then referred to MKCG Medical College and Hospital here. On the way he was succumbed his injuries, police said.

Previous enmity might be the cause of the incident, the SDPO said.
