4 demand extortion money from property dealer in UP

Four miscreants allegedly demanded Rs 5 lakh as extortion money from a property dealer in Kairana town of Shamli district, police said today.

As per the complaint lodged yesterday, four people including one Kauser came to Chaipal's office, threatened him and demanded Rs 5 lakh, they said.

A case has been registered against the four accused, they said, adding that further investigation is on.
