4 injured in road accident in Rajasthan

At least four persons, including a woman and a minor girl, were today injured when a Volvo bus they were travelling in rammed into a truck on NH-27 Kota-Shivpuri highway near Pholai village.

The mishap took place when the passenger bus going from Kanpur to Rajkot with around 50 to 60 passengers overturned on the other side of the road after ramming into a fore running truck that had also ran over the divider near Pholai village, said Vishnu Singh, SHO at Simleya police station.

As the driver of the truck first lost balance and the vehicle ran over the divider, the Volvo passenger bus running behind rammed into it and overturned on the other side injuring the four people, he said.
 

The injured are identified as Muesh Luhar (17), resident of Uttar Pradesh and Kallibai (25), Banwari Rager and his daughter Dallibai (8), all residents of Shahabad area of Baran district.

The injured were rushed to MBS hospital in Kota where they are undergoing medical treatment, he said, adding the traffic on the high way was resumed immediately after removing the bus with crane.
