Four persons, including a woman, were killed and six others of a family were injured when their jeep today rammed into a stationary truck near Gopalganj here, police said.
The Nagpur-based family was returning from Jabalpur after taking part in a marriage function when the accident occurred near Gopalganj on NH-7, police said.
Three of the deceased have been identified as Farzana Bi (50), Sajju Ansari (22) and Raja Ansari (20), while one more person, who is yet to be identified, later succumbed in the district hospital, they said.
The injured persons were admitted in the district hospital, police said, adding that a case has been registered in connection with the mishap.
