4 of a family taken ill due to suspected food poisoning

Four persons of a family were taken ill due to suspected food poisoning after they consumed 'karhi' at their residence in Kacholi village here, police said today.

The incident happened yesterday when 50-year-old Pushker, his wife Dixita (48), Kallu (20) and Sachin (18) ate karhi at their residence, they said.

They later complained of headache, vomiting and stomach cramps following which they were rushed to a district hospital.
