4 pilgrims injured in bee attack at Thanjavur Big temple

Four pilgrims suffered injuries after being stung by bees as a hive at a tower in the Sri Braghadeeswarar temple here was disturbed due to strong winds today, police said.

A large number of pilgrims, who had gathered at the Big temple ran helter-skelter after the bees chased them, they said.

Four people, who were stung, fainted and were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
