4-yr old burnt to death in house fire

A four-year old child was burnt to death and his parents suffered extensive burn injuries when a fire broke out at their Amdanga residence in North 24 Parganas today.

Police said the claim by the neighbours that a fireball was hurled inside the room this afternoon was being investigated.

One fire tender put off the leaping flames.

The injured couple were shifted from Barasat Hospital to R G Kar Hospital.
