5 dead in road mishap in UP

At least five persons, including a child, were today killed and one person injured when a car collided with a truck in Shahabad area here, police said.

The accident occurred at Hardoi-Shahjahanpur road, killing Arif Khan (45), Pervez (35), Mohammed Saif (10), Raju (45) and Danish (22), they said.

Tasleem, who was injured, has been referred to Trauma Centre at Lucknow in a serious condition.
