5 killed, 24 hurt in jeep-bus collision

Five persons were today killed and nearly 24 others injured when their jeep collided with a bus near Aama village, police said.

The victims were part of a marriage party returning to Imlia village from Aama when their vehicle met with the accident, police said.

Two persons died on the spot while three others succumbed to their injuries in a hospital at Shahnagar, police said.

The deceased were yet to be identified, police said, adding the injured passengers were referred to Panna district hospital.
