A 50-year old man was shot at
by alleged abductors of his nephew at Ratua in Malda district today.
Police said the man had prevented some youths from taking away his nephew on September 29 and lodged an official complaint against the alleged kidnappers.
He was shot at, allegedly by the same gang, today and taken to Malda Medical College Hospital in serious condition.
Two persons were detained in this connection.
