6 injured as double-decker bus rams into tree in Mumbai

Six persons were injured today when a double-decker bus they were travelling in rammed into a roadside tree, police said.

The mishap occurred near suburban Bandra court this afternoon when the bus operated by civic-run Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) undertaking was on its way to Kurla, a senior police official said.

The six injured were admitted to a nearby hospital, he said.
