6 policemen injured as escort vehicle collides with truck

Six policemen were injured when the escort vehicle of the West Midnapore Zilla Parishad Sabhadipati collided with a truck at Bhadutolla in West Midnapore district today, police sources said.

West Midnapore Zilla Parishad Sabhadipati Antara Singh was going to her home in Chandrakona Town from Midnapore when her escort vehicle collided with a truck coming from the opposite direction, the sources said.

Six policemen were in the escort vehicle. The injured policemen have been admitted to the Midnapore Medical College and Hospital, the sources added.
