Nigerian held in fake passport case

A Nigerian national was today arrested for possessing fake passport and illegally staying in the country, police said.

40-year-old Veristus Orkha from Masjid in south Mumbai was arrested during a routine combing operation, a release issued by the Paydhuni police said.

Orkha, who is into cloth business, possessed a coloured copy of a passport and submitted it to the police saying that it was genuine, they said.
