65-year-old woman raped

A 65-year-old woman was allegedly raped by a man in Anchuthengu in the district following which the accused has been arrested, police said today.

Anaz (29), a declared offender was arrested today, Thiruvananthapuram Superintendent of Police (Rural) Shefeen Ahamed K told reporters here.

He had barged into the house of the elderly woman when she was alone and raped her two days ago, Ahamed said.
