7 kg gold biscuits seized at Hyderabad airport

Gold biscuits weighing around seven kg which were allegedly being smuggled by two women passengers were seized today at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in Shamshabad here, a custom official said.
The women who arrived at the airport by a flight from Dubai initially denied carrying the yellow metal. However, after checking they were found to be in possession of seven kg gold biscuits, the officer said.
The official declined to elaborate further saying the women were being questioned and investigations are underway.
