A seven-year-old girl was killed when she was hit by a vehicle today in Munshiganj area, police said today.
The minor, a resident of Laukipur village, was returning from her school after taking an examination when a vehicle hit her, police said, adding, the unidentified assailants fled the spot.
Meanwhile, in a separate incident, two persons, accused of loot, were today arrested by police near Nagesharganj area, police said.
The two, identified as Teepu alias Shafi Ahmad of Jagdishpur and Akbal of Makdumpur Kala area here were arrested today near Nagesharganj under Musafirkhana Police Station area, Circle Officer, Musafirkhana, Sumit Shukla said.
Some golden ornaments and country made pistols with live cartridges were seized from their possession, he said.
