8 surrender in murder of law student

A day after the murder of a law college student here, eight persons allegedly involved in it surrendered before a court in Andipatti.

Manikandan, doing LLB course in Bangalore, was murdered on the Vaigai riverbed allegedly to avenge the murder of another person, related to one of the gang members recently.

Eight persons surrendered before Judicial Magistrate Saravananan, who remanded them to judicial custody for 15 days.
