Accused in minor's rape arrested

Police have arrested the accused in the rape case of a minor girl who had also attacked the victim's family for refusing to withdraw the case.

The accused Abid has been arrested, they said here today.

A six-year-old girl was allegedly raped by Abid who had threatened her family members to withdraw the case.

According to the complaint yesterday, the girl was kidnapped and taken to a spot near a vacant house where she was raped. Later the victim was found in an unconscious condition.
