The 100-bedded hospital at the local unit of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) here is likely to be inaugurated on July 25.
The much-awaited hospital is currently running its Out Patients Department (OPD) since last year.
Joint Secretary, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Sandeep Nayak during his visit here yesterday said the formal inaugural of the hospital is likely to be held on July 25.
On the occasion, the joint secretary met engineers and officials of AIIMS and discussed with them the reasons behind the delay in starting of the the hospital.
Nayak said henceforth, he will monitor the remaining construction work of the hospital.
Notably, inauguration of the hospital was awaited since two years and only its OPD is running from January last year.
