Air Force sergeant dies in road mishap

An Air Force sergeant was killed while two other personnel suffered injuries when a state road transport bus rammed into their vehicle, police said today.

Sergeant Arvind Singh (40), who hailed from Patna in Bihar, died on the spot while two other Air Force personnel -- Raju Jamoli and Amar Jyot Singh were injured in the mishap that occurred in Sadar area last night, they said.

Arvind's body has been sent to his native place.

The injured are being treated at the PBM Hospital here and their condition is stated to be out of danger, they said.

An FIR has been lodged against the bus driver.
