Ajsu nominates Naveen Jaiswal for Hatia by-poll

"We are fielding Naveen Jaiswal from the Hatia seat and appeal all alliance partners to support him", Ajsu party president and deputy Chief Minister Sudesh Mahto told reporters after a party meeting here.

Ajsu is one of the alliance partners in the Arjun Munda-led BJP/JMM/JDU government in Jharkhand.

Its announcement comes close on the heels of the five-member Ajsu legislature party helping JMM candidate Sanjeev Kumar win in the May 3 Rajya Sabha elections, which prevented BJP
