Chhattisgarhs Revenue Minister Prem Prakash Pandey today said all 704 revenue courts of the state will be converted into e-courts soon and the process of making them online has already been started.
"Of the 704 revenue courts, 494 had already been converted into e-courts and soon the remaining will also be covered under the project," the minister said.
The revenue courts include the courts of collectors, sub-divisional officers, tehsildars and naib tehsildars, he said.
He said that e-courts would bring about speedy disposal of cases and also enhance transparency.
"Parties involved in the case will be able to receive updates of the hearing process from anywhere. The e-courts will make it easier for officials to monitor," the minister said.
He further said about 3.15 crore revenue documents have been computerised and updated online.
Stating that Chhattisgarh is the first state in the country to have provided skill development as a right for the local youth, the minister said that about 3.19 lakh youth had been trained in skills up-gradation under the Chief Minister Skill Development Project so far.
He added that of the 3.19 lakh youth, some 1.15 lakh youth have been employed or are self-employed in various trades.
"Similarly, "Livelihood Colleges" had been established in all the 27 districts of the state and so far 42,000 youth had been trained in crucial and important trades," he said.
Pandey, who also holds portfolio of Higher Education and Technical Education, listing the achievements of his departments on the completion of 14 years of the BJP government in Chhattisgarh.
