Almond eases on subdued demand

Almond and its kernel prices eased in the the national capital today owing to slackened demand from retailers.

However, other dry fruits held steady in thin trade.

Marketmen said subdued demand from retailers against adequate stocks mainly led to decline in almond and its kernel prices.

Almond (california) declined by Rs 50 to Rs 22,650 per 40 kg. Its dal kernel also eased by Rs 5 to Rs 775-795 per kg.

Almond (California) Rs 22,650, Almond (Gurbandi-new) Rs 10,000-10,400; Almond (Girdhi) Rs 6,900-7,100; Abjosh Afghani Rs 15,000-20,000.

Almond Kernel (California-new) Rs 775-795 per kg, Almond Kernel (Gurbandi-new) Rs 700-800 per kg.
