Amity Uni confers honorary doctorate degree on Jung

Amity University in Uttar Pradesh today conferred an honorary doctorate degree on Delhi Lieutenant-Governor Najeeb Jung, at the first day of the 2016 convocation ceremony.

Chancellor, Amity University, Atul Chauhan conferred the honorary doctorate degree in Philosophy on Jungfor his "outstanding contribution as an administrator and a brilliant academician who has shown utmost sincerity and humility in political and social endeavors".

Around 14,000 graduands from Amity universities will be conferred on degrees and diplomas during the convocation.
