Amphibian plane hits bridge in Shanghai, two inured

Two people were injured today when an amphibian plane hit a bridge in Shanghai, China's biggest city and a global financial hub.

At least two people on board were injured, state-run Xinhua news agency said in a brief report.

A rescue operation is underway, it said. Amphibian plane is an aircraft that can take off and land on both land and water.
