Anand Sharma attacks NDA govt over comments on Myanmar strike

Senior Congress leader Anand Sharma today criticised the NDA government and called its ministers "immature" for taking credit in the operation conducted by Indian army in Myanmar.

Former Union minister said that the statements not only cause unavoidable embarrassment to a friendly country but also exposed the immature acts of the ministers to claim credit.

The situation turned so sensitive that Myanmar government had to deny Indian security forces entering their territory, he said while addressing a press conference here today.

Such strikes on terrorist hideouts in bordering areas have happened earlier but the craze of NDA ministers to take the credit for it has send wrong signals to other countries, he added.
