Angie Everhart hospitalised after ankle injury

Model-turned-actress Angie Everhart was hospitalised after she hurt her ankle.

The 44-year-old actress was treated by doctors after she sustained a bizarre injury, reported Contact Music.

American actor Joe Pesci's former fiancee, Everheart, who beat thyroid cancer last year, posted on Twitter, "I had a crazy experience this past weekend. Injured my ankle by crossing my legs too long.

"The crossing of my leg on my perineal nerve cause (sic) it to go to sleep, can't move my foot. No joke. Was in hospital for 3 days. I'm in a leg brace and all. Doc (sic) says it will come back but will take a few weeks. Very scary," she tweeted.
