Army chief inaugurates 47th IAC committee meeting at NDA

The meeting was attended by personalities from the field of economics, industry, finance and management, who provide expert advice in an honorary capacity on AGIF investments and fund management.

Vice Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General S K Singh, Adjutant General Lieutenant General J P Nehra, besides army commanders and other senior officers were present on the occasion, a defence release said.

The Army Group Insurance Fund was established in January 1976 as a Group Insurance Society. It is a group insurance cum savings scheme and provides income and allied benefits to all ranks of the Indian Army.
