An Army Naik has killed a Rifleman inside the battalion premises of 2/5 Gorkha Regiment at Bishnupur Tera Urak in Manipur's Bishnupur district this afternoon, the police said.
Naik Prem Bahadur shot dead rifleman Jayalal Budha with his service weapon following an argument. Another Rifleman, who tried to intervene and stop the argument has been injured in the incident, the police said.
The body of the deceased has been sent to Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) Hospital for post mortem and a case has been registered at Bishnupur police station, they said.
